What ought I say NO to, what is the situation, and what ought I say YES to.
Let’s experiment with Tarot! I asked about the situation in the middle of this 3 card spread. First I was curious about what I ought to be saying ‘NO’ to in my life. Then I asked about the situation that I am saying ‘NO’ to and last I asked what I ought to say ‘YES’ to more often. Let’s dive in!

VII The Chariot R

XIX The Sun R

King of Swords

Universe shows me a path towards inner joy.
What happens when you ask the Universe a generic question? In this three card spread, I asked what should I say ‘no’ to, what do I need to know about the situation, and what do I say ‘yes’ to. This spread showed me that in my current situation of lonliness and pessism (The Sun), I ought to say ‘no’ to being stuck and ‘yes’ to intellectual experiences. Let’s dive deeper!
VII The Chariot Reversed

VII The Chariot reversed is a card that often means “stuck” and “unable to move”. We see two sphynx, one black and one white on either side. We see a man with a star crown underneath a star canopy and appears to be nearly stuck in the concrete/cemete chariot. There are two castles behind him in additon to him having crossed over the river.
XIX The Sun

XIX The Sun Reverse. This card while in reverse, often means that something is hidden or could be brighter. We see a big full sun shining down on a naked baby who is riding a white horse. In the background is a row of sunflowers growing behind the wall. In the reverse position, this card is considered a relatively positive card.
King of Swords

The King of Swords card indicates intellectual power and clear thinking and focused ambition and mindset. Here we see a larger than life character taking up the entire frame. Sword in hand, he is ready. The swords are our intellectual experience, the ability to intellectize and narrate and this includes our own story. In relation to the question: what do I say ‘yes’ to, it speaks to focusing my mind and giving attention to what I have assigned worth to. Saying ‘yes’ to the areas of life that are meant for me with strength, determined focus, and intellectual ambition.
Closing Thoughts
This powerful spread includes two Major Arcana cards and a King. Speaking to the situation of my beliefs of lonliness and sadness, it encourages me to say no to being ‘stuck’ in life and encourages me to tell myself a different internal story. The power of the mind to seek to see the situation more clearly and begin giving attention and focus to life worthy experiences.
