My story/interpretion
The X of Pentacles says to me that I am in the middle of this journey. The background is a grayed out castle, symbolizing to me the past. the focus of the card is being in the middle, an older adult faces away sitting in a wealthy robe signifying his legacy is near the end. The woman and child face the journeyman. he is looking forward at them, beginning to start his legacy journey. The Knight of Cups is said to be returning with his offering of a cup. The cups symbolize emotions and can symbolize emotions being contained. In the Knight of Cups, the knight is holding a cup in front of him. To me, this card indicates that I am being guided by my inner emotions. Is this a fleeting emotion or inner guidance? It could be that my goals are too whimsical. The last card, XX Judgement is often a card indicating being accountable for your past actions, releasing past guilt and shame, and a time to end the introspection and reemerge with a deeper level of self understanding.
Closing Thoughts
Overall this spread shows me that my goals are aligned with my current path in life. I am in the middle of my life journey, enojoying my parents and my children simultaneously. I may want to double check that my goals are factual and based in reality and not being led by the whims of transient emotions. Either way, the knight does indicate action and movement. And lastly, it is time to step out of my introspection. Forgiving myself for pasts wrongs along with radical acceptance of my current being.
